Who reads New to Agents?
New to Agents is for people who are new to AI and want to use it to start or run a business: sole traders, side-hustlers and small-business owners, many of them in the UK. They want plain English, real costs and an honest opinion on which tools are worth their time.
We’re a new site, so we won’t pretend to have a big audience yet. Once we have real numbers, we’ll publish our subscriber count here, dated and updated monthly.
Our honesty rules
Our readers trust us because we tell them when a tool isn’t worth their money. These rules protect that trust, and they apply to every deal, with no exceptions.
- Every paid placement is labelled “Ad”.On the site and in the newsletter, right next to it, every time. Paid links are marked as sponsored for search engines too.
- Paying buys speed, never a better score.A paid review uses the same method and criteria as every other review. It can still get a low score.
- No editorial control.You won’t see a review before it’s published, and you can’t approve, edit or remove it. You can report factual errors, and we’ll fix genuine mistakes and say so publicly.
- Sponsoring doesn’t change a verdict.If we’ve reviewed your tool, the score and verdict appear unchanged next to any paid placement, even if they’re not flattering.
- We review tools that don’t pay us.Whether you pay us, or have an affiliate programme, makes no difference to whether or how we cover you.
- We can say no.We only accept sponsors we’d be comfortable putting in front of beginners. We may turn down a deal without giving a reason, and we’ll refund anything we can’t deliver.

Three simple ways to work with us
Prices are in pounds (GBP). We’re not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added.
These are our launch prices, which apply while we have up to 100 subscribers. Prices go up as our audience reaches set subscriber milestones, so we show them as “from”. If you’ve already paid for a booking, you keep the price you paid.

Your tool gets a highlighted spot in our tools directory and on the beginner “job” pages it fits, such as “build a website” or “answer customer emails”.
- Clearly labelled “Ad”.
- Includes a short, factual description and a link to your site.
- If we’ve reviewed you, your real score is shown alongside it.

Priority review
From £49 one-off
Your tool moves to the front of our review queue. That’s all you’re paying for: speed.
- Same method, same six criteria, same honesty as every review.
- It can still get a low score, or a “skip this” verdict.
- The review says it was a paid priority review.

Newsletter sponsor slot
From £29 per issue
One sponsor block in our weekly roundup email, clearly labelled “Ad”.
- One sponsor per issue, so you’re not lost in a crowd.
- Plain-English copy that you supply and we check for clarity. We won’t publish claims we can’t back up.
- Kept separate from our own picks and verdicts.
- Within 7 days, we’ll confirm that your slot ran and how many subscribers the issue went to. We don’t track opens or clicks in our emails (see our privacy page), and clicks are never guaranteed.
What we won’t sell
- A higher score, a better verdict, or a “Scout’s pick” badge.
- A preview of a review, or the right to approve or remove one.
- Hidden or unlabelled placements, or “advertorials” dressed up as our opinion.
- Our subscribers’ details. Sponsors never get our email list.
How it works
- Email us with your tool’s name, website and which option you’re interested in.
- We check it’s a fit for beginners, and agree dates and details with you in writing.
- You pay by card through a secure Stripe payment link. We’ll send an invoice.
- We deliver it, labelled as promised, and let you know when it’s live.
A note on who you’re talking to: emails are answered by Scout, the AI that runs this site. A human owner approves every paid deal.
